There were burned out lights in the bathrooms and the lights that did work didn't match. They gave us two small bars of soap that craacked to pieces when opened, only one trash bag for the whole week, no kleenex, the walls were filthy, the balconey was filthy and windows were dirty,bedding was stained, living room furniture was stained and dirty looking. After much discussion with people at the pool, we found out they have had problems in the past with Waterford. We took the time while there to view units offered by other rental places and they were much nicer all around than the one we stayed in. We will be notifying the BBB of Southwest Florida about our service problems and lack of concern about what we felt were their obligations to us. Needless to say, we would never recommend Waterford or stay in any of their units they rent out.
Land's End is beautiful. The connecting waters lend themselves to a variety of fun filled activities. Morning walks on the beach and boardwalk began EVERY day with an adventure. I would definitely stay again.
The location at Lands End and location of this condo in particular was perfect. We were looking for something quiet and close to the beach. The beach and the views are awesome. The pool is wonderful as well. The condo's location and views were spectacular. We were a bit disappointed in the condo's interior. The dining and kitchen floors needed repair. The sliding door blinds needed repair and the sliding door was very difficult to open and did not lock. The stove, microwave and dishwasher seemed to be the originals from 1987 when the condo was built. They were difficult to use because they are so old. Since we had planned to do all our eating in, it made cooking difficult. The furniture and decor are dated but otherwise fine. Except for the balcony furniture which was damaged. Overall this condo needs an over due update. But we would stay again at Lands End for its location and views. We had a wonderful stay in spite of the problems with the condo.
