  We stayed at Casa de Emdeko #321 for 7 days in Aug. The unit was very clean and comfortable, and everything we need for our stay was appropriately prepared (e.g, kitchen equipments, beach chairs etc…). We loved a breakfast at lanai and also enjoyed a salt water pool and BBQ by the sea. Only problem was that there were many roaches in the unit. We caught more than 15 roaches and saw some more during our 7 days stay. Besides this, we had a wonderful stay there, and we definitely recommend this unit to our friends.

  We spent 6 nights at Casa de Emdeko on the Kona Coast and were thrilled with every aspect of the property. The apartment was extremely clean, well-equipped for everything we needed and very quiet. The last may have had something to do with the apartment's location. It was an end unit and on the top floor. While there's no beach at the location, there are two immaculate pools and beaches are easily accessed with a car or long walk. We were very impressed by the thoughtfulness of the owners in terms of what they included in the unit. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

  My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in unit 321 for 16 days. The pictures on the website were very accurate and depicted the newly renovated unit. We were delighted that the unit had everything we needed to enjoy a day at the beach, i.e. umbrella, two boogie boards, two beach chairs, and a cooler. It was also terrific having a washer and dryer in this unit which in an extra plus. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed including tupperware for our day's outings.
  
  This is the fourth time we have stayed in this complex. It is great for those who want to tuck in early as it is very quiet and the typical resident staying consists of mature folks (who party, but not after 10:00 p.m.). The complex has two barbecues overlooking the ocean with a great patio along with the tiki torches.
  
  I would definitely stay in the unit again.
  
  Also, working with the rental agency was excellent, always helpful and friendly. I was also able to do a late checkout for a small fee which was very helpful with the terrible red eye flights which we took on our departure.

  loved the condo. too bad most of the the parking lot was closed to us for the majority of our stay and no AC for the last 3.5 days... still waiting for mgmt response to this 5 day slater...otherwise, loved it and will come back many times!!!

  The entire Casa de Emdeko complex is well kept with beautiful grounds. Unit 321 is newly redecorated and very nice. The only problem we encountered was parking spaces. On the weekend many spaces were occupied by cars without a parking permit. Sunday night we had to park out next to the strip mall. On Monday AM there were available spaces next to the complex and occupied ones had parking permits. It appears that guests/residents have friends over who use the parking spaces adjacent to the buildings.

  Casa de Emdeko is a great place to stay. This was our second time there. It is very well maintained. The BBQ & patio area is great. Plenty of tables if you want to dine there. Everyone is friendly. Pools & beach area are very clean. The condos are affordable & clean. Just an overall great place to stay. We will be looking forward to our next trip there.

  Unit was beautiful, lovely kitchen that
  we only used for making coffee but it has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal.
  There was a problem with getting warm / water for a shower the first week of
  vaction and one day UNANNOUNED we had
  NO water around 4 when trying to get ready to go out for our 30th anniversary.

  The dryer didn't dry very well(just a note).
  We haven't found out if we incurred any extra charges yet, so we will hold off until we find out how the overall cost was.

  We loved the quiet, the salt water pool, and the grounds. The condo was clean and 95% ready for us. The dresser was away from the wall for painting and had not been put back. The facility itself was just right for us and I appreciated having the washer/dryer, ice chest, sand chairs and beach towels. It was by far the best appointed condo of the three we have stayed at in Kona.

  We couldn't have asked for more. The unit was fully equipped. Everything looked new and fresh. The outside landscaping was maintained daily & quietly (kept for a peaceful vacation). Best location to watch the Spinner dolphins from the lanai every morning. Plentiful beautiful birds. Met several other vacationers who have been returning to Casa de Emdeko for 20+ years. I know I will return. What else can I say? Awesome!!!

  We were all very happy with our choice to stay at unit 321 at Casa de Emdeko. Except for a bit of a hitch with getting the Internet connection going, everything else in the unit was great. It is so well equipped, with thoughtful extras that one doesn't always find in a condo. Laurie at Kona Coast was very helpful, expedient and very nice to deal with in providing a couple of things that were missing. Casa de Emdeko itself is a lovely property, in which we felt very safe and secure. We loved the oceanside pool and the sandy area beside it, as well as the gardens. The only minor suggestion for the room is that a couple of spare garbage bags for the kitchen garbage be left in the room. It also might have been nice to be able to go for an evening swim. Thanks so much - we would certainly book here again should we return to the Kona coast.

  Whatever the problem it was fixed. They were wonderful & the place has every extra you would not imagine such as a cordless phone, plastic wrap, aluminum foil,etc and everything to keep it clean.
