Very beautiful condo with a wonderful view. I loved everything, except the traffic in and out of Kapa'a. But still worth it to stay at this resort.
my wife and another couple have been to kauai 4 times now, we would normaly stay at the south end in Popui. we decided to do somthing different this time and stay on the east side of the island. besides being quite a bit more traffic in ths area we would highlt reccomend this resort. the staff were excellent in bothe the resort and at the lounge. even though we do not have any kids it was fun to watch them on the water slide and enjoy the pool, which by the way was awsome. that is the other thing that was different on this trip, normaly we are always on the go on this island and this time we found ourselves just kicking back a lot and enjoying the pool and the Mai Tai's. i highly reccomend this resort
Stayed at unit D404 in July-August 2009. The unit was clean, easily accessible, and had all the amenities we needed. The property itself could use a bit more maintenance but it didn't bother us too much.
Thre were several notices in the condo about incurring additional charges for excessive trash or leaving more than five loads of laundry; however, there were no instructions on what to do with the trash or if we were expected to wash the sheets and towels ourselves. Some common-sense directions, such as the location of the trash dumpster and how to check out pool towels, would have been very helpful. Overall, this is a beautful condo with very comfortable furnishings in a wonderful location.
Only wish the condo owner had provided a small cooler so we can take drinks and snacks to the beach. Bath robes would also have been nice as well as a safe. We have stayed at Waipouli before in another unit and that owner had all these items available.
The Waipouli Beach Resort is the perfect vacation destination for our family. Unit D404 was beautifully decorated and well equipped for our stay. The only thing I missed was not having a tea pot. All in all a fantastic vacation.
Great location if you want to be central to good restaurants, grocery, airport, equal access to North shore and Poipu. D404 Propery Ritz quality. Too bad the couple sharing the condo with us had difficutly checking in even after I notified ReMax they were not on the check in form. Fortunately I was between flights and could take the call from the propery manager for verification. Seems Outrigger Wailopouli property and Remax had a communication breakdown. Remax could improve their service by checking in to confirm all ok with unit. Never had contact with them during our stay. Truly the condo was beautiful and we would stay there again.

Beautiful condo with a perfect view of pool and ocean. Pool was very cold for swimming and hot water heater must have been turned down because hot water for 5 guests was limited. We were granted a "late check-out" and really appreciated that since our flight left late. Would definately recommend these condos and would stay here again!
Our stay at the resort was very pleasant and the resort was fabulous. The staff at the resort (main desk and restaurant) were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal (although quite windy compared to the Poipu area where we previously stayed). The pool design was awesome and my children liked swimming there. Quite often however, the heater for the pool was broken and the water was cold - the kid's hot tub was quite cold as well. Water slides however were great. The view from our balcony was spectacular. We were disappointed when we arrived and discovered we needed a code to get into the room rather than a card key - we were not given this code beforehand by Remax. Also, we tried calling all the numbers we were given and only got answering machines. It was the hotel staff that got ahold of your representative to get the code for us. While the resort and accomodations were luxurious and very comfortable, we we disappointed that there was no personal touch at all - which we'd expect from a rental arrangement vs. a hotel reservation. In our condo at Poipu (which was cheaper) we had a bottle of champagne, beach chairs, snorkel gear, books to read, Kauai tour books, suntan lotion, etc. All we got at this resort was salt and pepper and a cooler. For the price, you should definitely consider some sort of personal touch.
Great place. We had a lot of fun with family of 5. They also gave a us a late checkout with no fee or hassles. I would recommend staying here.
This was a beautiful Property. Our Condo was spacious, looked new and well maintained with high end appliances. Great View from the lani. Store Accross the street and Night life about 1 mile away. I cannot wait to go back.
This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. It is in a great location and the pool, views, and the pool bar was awesome. We truly loved our place. We actually rented D404 and D410 because we had a large group. The place was outstanding and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
We had a great stay at Waipouli. The condos are amazing and include the best of everything. Certainly not your variety beach rental. But very upscale. We stayed in a top unit with a terrific beach view. Absolutely the way to go. We slept with the doors open every night listening to waves and feeling the breeze. And don't miss the Mai Tai's by the pool at 4:00 happy hour. We'll definitely go back.
Great unit, great view (best in the whole complex), great property manager. Will definitely use again.
