  First impression of Kauai

  This was our 1st trip to Kauai and the property and unit were lovely. Since we had never been to this island it was a perfect location for exploration both north and south. Having 2 stores so close made utilizing the beautiful kitchen a joy. It was nice to walk into a place that we had never been and have it feel like you were walking into the pictures that we had seen of the property, it was represented well.This unit was just perfect for our 2 week home away from home. When we return to Kauai we will definately consider staying there again.

  We stayed for the second half of our honeymoon for 5 nights. This particular unit is unbelievable! We were very impressed as we have stayed in some exceptional places before. The amenities within the facility were top notched. The owner did not skimp and everything you could possibly need is there. We will definitely be going back.

  This was the most beautiful resort I have ever stayed at! The location was excellent, Remax Kauai was very easy to deal with and when we had one minor problem, they exceeded our expectations. The room was spotlessly clean and was just as the description described. Absolutely beautiful. I would recommend this resort as well as Remax Kauai to anyone. Highly impressed!

  Not that we were in the room much, but the only problem we had was that the cable box did not work with any of the TV remotes. Plus I though I saw some where that HBO was available and it was not. Other than this mionor issue, great accommodations!

  I never talked with a property, took 2 days to get a parking pass. I got so tired of- every time we would ask for something we were told oh, you're in one of those owner condos. This property was represented the same as the ones on the main website. Next time I'll book straight with the property and not a brokerage.

  Aloha Mrs. Johnson, We are so sorry to hear about your frustrations at the resort. The condo/hotel concept being relatively new still has some kinks. It is the responsibility of all employees on property, no matter who they work for, to show every guests great customer service. I again would like to apologize that this was not the case for you. I will be writing the owners association and notifiying them that this area of customer care still has some area of improvement. We would love to have another opportunity to help you and your family have a great vacation here on Kauai.   We will definitely come back to the Waipouli Condos in Kapaa, HI. This particular location is central to everything and the convenience of Safeway, Longs, Subway and other miscellaneous shops directly across the street (three minute walk) was extremely convenient.

  Overall a very nice place and property. Room was clean but small ants infested the pantry and we had to throw out food. Towels smelled of mildrew & had to be washed prior to using after paying a $130 cleaning fee. Dryer timer was not accurate...would shut down early leaving wet clothes/towels. Kitchen was beautiful, but needed some microwave safe casserole dishes for quick meals. Bedroom lanai could use a table. Shower head is low flow...needs to be replaced. Very comfortable place, but has a few kinks that need to be worked out to receive five stars. Would definately return and enjoyed our time there.

  It was a dream vacation. The condo was decorated tastefully and we were very comfortable. The unit was clean and we could not hear any noise from other units. The location is great with everything you need within walking distance.The pool was very clean, and the ocean beach was breathtaking. We would love to come back, and stay in the same condo. We couldn't ask for more. It was incredible.

  Other then the Cable TV being turned off for 8 of the 10 days we were there and the washing machine leaking all over when you used it, it was geat. Those two things were not enough to ruin the vacation! I actually wanted to stay longer and talked to people at Remax but they never got back to me so we went to Poipu for the next 5 days. Loved it there too.

  I was a little nervous renting a place off the internet but this condo was beautiful and clean and had a beautiful view. Our kids loved the pool and we found most places were a resonable drive from this location. Loved the kitchen and oversized bath tub!! Our family of 4 fit nicely in the unit and a suprise mid-week cleaning was quite helpful! Would definitely stay here again!

  We have stayed in other condos that had a few more kitchen supplies such as bags, saran wrap etc. and that was nice, but otherwise the condo was clean and facility was nice.
