We used to be Cliffs timeshare owners and chose to return there for our stay after having sold our timeshares over 20 years ago. It was as beautiful as we remembered - swam with the turtlrs, saw the humpback whales and endangered monk seals, enjoyed the fabulous Smith family Luau,took in the breathtaking views of the Napali coastline. Our kids (19 and 24) were in heaven! Remax properties was great also- our plane was leaving at 9 pm and since no one was coming into the condo immediately after us they were very graciuos in allowing us to check out much later than the 10 am check out time. We will definitely use their services next time we visit Hawaii- and I know we will again soon! Everything went very smoothly. The only thing we were not made aware of was that the Cliffs pool was under renovation so we had no poiol on site, although we were able to use Hanalei Bay Resort pool. We just had to get in the car and drive to it. Mahalo!
Was disappointed in the overall condition of the unit. Not up to par with others I have stayed in at The Cliffs. Kitchen not as equipped as others; coffee pot needs to be replaced; only two bowls for food if cooking; walls and outside of refrigerator need to be cleaned; shower curtain in master bedroom needs weights to keep from flying all over when showering; living room lanai door hangs up and needs a strong person to open it--spraying with WD-40 didnt' help; living room furniture uncomfortable. Did appreciate key to lanai storage cabinet which held beach items that could be used.

Aloha, We are so sorry to hear about your disapoinment in the condition of the condo. There is work to be done in this particular condo and we will work with the owners to remedy this situation. We hope you return to Kauai soon and have a wonderful time.
We had a very nice vacation but the condo in itself was in serious disrepair and not very clean. Upon entering, there was a bucket with a note that the roof was leaking and to leave it there. We looked at that bucket in the middle of the floor and walked around it the whole week. Maintenance came the next day to check out some outlets that didn't work but nothing was resolved. The sliding door on the ocean side needs replaced and hardly opened. The place needs some work. We were not told the pool was not in operating condition. That was a disappointment since there is no beach access within walking distance. Had we known that we would have stayed somewhere else. We were very disappointed in the shape of things but loved the area.
This is our second stay at the Cliffs. We love the north shore of Kauai. This unit is in a great location with a beautiful view of the ocean. The condo is roomy and comfortable and nicely appointed. The Cliffs management is very helpful and they offer a great orientation session to the island. A great place to stay.
The Cliffs was one of the nicest properties we have stayed at anywhere in Hawaii.The unit was exceptionally spacious, great for a family with teenagers.Sunsets and view from the lanai were spectacular.The unit was very clean, well equipped, nicely furnished, all the amenities for a great holiday.
