Relax in this cozy two bedroom unit just steps from beautiful Kamaole Beach Park II. Located on the ground floor of a 2 story building, F-103 is well appointed with all the comforts of home including air conditioning in the livingroom. The guest bedroom consitsts of a queen and double bed, TV, DVD player, air conditioning and it's own bathroom.The property has 2 swiming pools with jacuzzi & kitchen area, barbeques, and tennis court. I do like the Maui Banyan but was disappointed in this particular suite. This unit felt a bit dark and dingy in the kitchen area but with better lighting it would be okay. The furniture needs updating. There were only two beach towels in the unit based on an occupancy of 4 adults and two children. We did appreciate the beach chairs very much!!!

Shame on us for not knowing there were not enough beach towels. We will certainly add some. Your thoughts are appreciated and we will do our best to address them.
The unit was large enough for a family of 5. Located directly across a very nice beach (the kids were there all the time) that has a life guard on duty, and literally 5 minutes away from "the nicest beach in America" Wailea, for a fraction of the cost. Unit was ready for us when we arrived with enough towels, washing products for the washing machine and dish washer and some basic supplies such as salt and pepper, oil and sugar, toilet paper and paper towels. All equipment was adequate. and in working order. Stores near by were convenient, though it was hard to find local food, but that's more a Maui problem than something that's specific to this unit. Plenty of restaurants around, from the expensive one in the Grand Wailea resort to the inexpensive vegan eatery in a near by shopping center. 2 things that could be improved for the unit: a phone in the living room rather than the kids' bedroom and the window in the kids bedroom would not open. All the preparation with the renting agency went very smoothly, good and friendly service. We will definitely go back.
We enjoyed our stay-the Banyan is our favorite. The only complaint we have about the suite is that the bed in the master bedroom wasn't very comfortable.

Thank you for your comments. They are important to us. I apologize the master bed was not very comfortable for you. We did have the mattress rotated as they are just 2 years old. Hopefully this will make it more comfortable for the next guests.
Location to beach/restaurants was excellent.Nice location close to shopping strip.Bedding was soiled and carpets not perfectly clean. overwhelming smell of bleach when we entered the unit.Airconditioning in main lounge not able to keep area cool,The Airconditoning unit iced up for nearly a whole day, my husband cleaned filters and had to run it at a higher temp. hard to sleep as room was walm. 2nd bedroom airconditioner able to keep room cool.
Convenient location, close to beach, pool adn a great price! Can't thank you enough.
Facilities were good. Had a great time.
Overall a good place to stay. Positives: Location and Property amenities - Right across the street from Kamaole 2 beach so a great location in Kihei and had 2 nice swimming pools, 2 hot tubs and great barbecues available. Lots of parking available. Table and chairs outside on the lanais so we could have breakfast/ dinner outside if we chose. Not much of a view from the lanai but it had good privacy (nice trees in the back) and not too noisy from the street. A short ~5 minute drive from Foodland grocery store (convenient) and also just a short drive to Wailea.Negatives: Carpet could've been a bit cleaner upon arrival, dishwasher didn't clean very well, one of the T.V. remotes didn't work very well, one of the portable fans in the bedrooms didn't work at all (but this turned out to be a non-factor as the 2 bedrooms each had a big ceiling fan and there was A/C in the unit too). Overall would still recommend this unit to others for rental.
