What a view! What a condo! Unit A402 has excellent accomodations for family; very nicely and comfortably furnished, including kitchenware (also had 4 beach towels, binoculars and small cooler for use!). No airconditioning, but cross breezes provided nice cooling, especially in front bedroom; lots of fans throughout unit. Beautiful view of ocean. Pool was not as small as image on website seemed; very warm. Saw turtles off balcony but not while snorkeling, but fun just to be snorkeling! Convience store across road with very good prices for knick-knacks, etc. Family didnot want to move on! Marcia was very friendly and provided good ideas for local area.
We had the most wonderful trip ever. We have been many places but this was by far the best we have ever stayed. The heated pool was awesome, the balcony had the best view possible and the room was delightful. 10 out of 10
This is our 2nd trip to Hololani and I can't wait to book our next vacation. The location is great, love the fact it's not a huge condo complex. Views are totally awesome and unit A402 is something out of a designer magazine.
Very nice condo....great view and saw many whales. Beach was a little small. There is some early road noise that affects the 2nd bdroom. But all in all was a great place to stay and we would go back!

We enjoyed our stay at Hololani. Our unit was beautifully decorated and the furniture was very comfortble. It was wonderful to wake up every moring to a view of Lanai and Molokai. In additions we enjoyed swimming in the pool and saw many whales and sea turtles from our balcony. We defintely will return and would recommend Hololani to friends.
We absolutely loved the condo A402 that we stayed in. The view from the lanai is the best! Everyone staying in the bldgs were very respectful of others and we would return in a hearbeat ! Love it!
The Hololani is a fantastic place to stay. The location is beautiful, quiet and out of the main stream. The pool & beach is one of the very best. The ONLY negative was our unit did not have a dish drainer, good wine cork screw and some of the cabinets need a cleaning on the outside. I almost hate to say how much we like the Hololani because more people will find out what a gem this is and it will be harder to book. Marcia is great and very helpful. Teenagers/young adults may find it too low key. We will be back.
My expectations were that there would be a better connection to the Internet. Both speed and download were missing!When a guest stays 10 days, one expects the courtesy of being able to print boarding passes!The assigned parking spot next to a wall was not acceptable. One cannot swing wide just a lot of back and forth movements with a person standing outside to direct you. That next to a wall spot should be wider.There was construction work being done on a unit close by which made the whining/grinding sounds not pleasant to listen to while one is trying to enjoy a vacation.
We had a great time at Hololani and look forward to go their again. A402 is a great location - well appointed and beautiful. Perfect location.
We were overwhelmed with the views, the spacious interior, and luxurious amenities in this condo. Hololani was a quiet, friendly place in which to relax with a lovely pool, family atmosphere and convenient parking. Its location was easy to find and afforded easy access to island highways. Will definitely stay here again!
this is the second time we have stayed at the condos. the first time they were re-doing the pool area. this time they were instaling new rails. it is a shame noone lets you know this info before we book. it was noisy and dirty. the elevators were full of dirt and were a mess. not sure if i would stay there again.

I'm almost afraid to say how wonderful the Hololani was because then everyone will want to stay there and it will be more difficult to book the next time we visit Maui. We have other favorite places on other islands, but this has all of those beat! It's away from all the other bigger resorts so for us that's the way we like it - more low key, more local, more of everything. It's probably not a place for someone who wants a little more action (entertainment, parties, etc) but if you like quiet and tranquility then it doesn't get any better than this.
