This was our first time to visit Hawaii and we were so glad we found the Hololani! B404 was a GREAT condo to stay at! I could not have picked a better vacation spot, it made our stay extremely special. The beaches were not crowded, my 13 yr old daughter loved playing in the pool and at the beach. This condo was modern and very homey. I would recomend it to anyone! Great views and so very peaceful. Easy access to stores and restaurants. We could not ask for a better place to stay!

This newly remodeled condo exceeded our expectations by far. It is beautifully decorated and was immaculate. The ocean view, from both bedrooms, is fantastic and we were able to see many whales. The floor plan is great for two couples vacationing together. Be sure to visit Dollie's Bar & Grill which is within walking distance.
Hawaii is our winter getaway favorite and we have visited all Islands in our 14 years traveling to Hawaii. Maui is our favorite island and we have stayed at Hololani twice in the past 3 years. Prior to staying at the Holoani we had good and bad experiences in where we stayed. The Hololani is beyond good and we rate it an excellent place to stay. We no longer book places sight unseen and wonder what we will be getting into. We have already booked for 2010 and the Hololani will be our only Hawaii choice from now on.
We stayed in unit B404. It was a nice remodeled unit. It was well stocked. The large sliding glass doors have been replaced. In this unit, one of the bedrooms does not have a door and all the other bathroom/bedroom doors are closet type doors with louvers. This is good for airflow, but bad for privacy and noise.You can really hear the ocean waves at night which may be good or bad depending if you are a light sleeper.The office and cleaning staff seemed top notch and were helpful when needed.The view was great! The pool was very well maintained and heated. The beach was ok, but not the type of beach you want to spend a lot of time on.Overall, I would stay here again. A little more privacy in the bedrooms is the only upgrade this unit needs.
A former ten-year resident of Oahu and now annual visitor to the islands, this is a second stay at the Hololani. We enjoyed a corner unit in the B building with superb remodeling. We rarely need a 2 bedroom unit, but when we do, the Hololani is our first choice on Maui.
This was truely a wonderful trip for my family and I. It was the first we had all taken to Maui together and staying at Hololani made it fantastic. This was the best location for everything. We were close to all the shopping centers, resturants were all within 5-10 minutes, the beach was great for the kids to swim and enjoy the sand so overall I would recommend it to everyone. If you have a family and you want a fantastic deal and location all in one than this is the place to be.
