  We have stayed at the Hololani several times in the past several years, and each time we have had a very enjoyable vacation. Usually, we stay in the A building, but this time we stayed in the B side. The condo we stayed in was not our favorite, because it was at the opposite end of the building as the ocean and we were right on the street, where we would awake to the sounds of the garbage truck slamming around and street noises, such as motorcycles and vehicle horns and motors... As well, for at least 6 days out of 14 we had no elevator and we were on the 8 floor. This is the first trip to the Hololani that there seemed to be many owners staying in their condos, and most were not friendly!
  On the positive side, the room was recently tiled, and that was very nice. The bathrooms were also, recently tiled.

  It was a wonderful place to stay. So relaxing, views were great, convenient location for a great price during the holiday season. Our teenagers were disappointed that the beach was so tiny, but with all the public beaches elsewhere around Maui it didn't pose much of a problem. I'd recommend this property to anyone. The entire week there was wonderful. Thanks.

  We spent 10/03/09-10/10/09 at the Hololani Resort. It was our first time in was exactly how the pictures on the web site looked.The view was breath taking!!! It had everything we could possibly need to cook and enjoy the time spent there. We can't wait to return and stay even longer!!

  We rented 5 condos for 12 days. A601 had some appliance issues. B603 had some appliance issues. B801 & B802 were very nice and had no issues. B803 needed a kitchen upgrade, the living room ceiling fan wouldn't work.

  My family and I were extremely pleased with the location and cleanliness of the condo unit. This was our first time to Maui and we were a short distance away from all the activities we had planned. Looking out from the lanai and watching the whales was an uplifting experience.
  
  The hotel manager Marcia was helpful and knowledgeable with information about Maui. I have and will continue to recommend the Hololani as a wonderful accommodation to enjoy the beauty of Maui.

  Property manager would not print airline boarding passes for trip home, requiring us to locate an internet cafe and pay for printing. Since this is norm today, the Hololani should figure out a way to accomodate clients who need this service.
