Very big and comfortable place. Has everything you need, even a washer/dryer. Good place to stay for a long period of time.
We would definitely stay at this condo in the future; loved the balcony off the living room and it's privacy. The location on the North Shore was very desirable with only a short walk to the lovely beach, other walking paths for exercise as well as a pool and tennis courts.
We found the property in fairly good condition. We did notice the counter top was broken and some of the cubbards too.Some of the kitchen supplies were minimal.Our only real complaint is the bed mattress was of poor quality. A luxury mattress will always bring people back.
All in all good. I don't know if the next door neighbors were also visitors or permanent residents but they were a little loud and their cigarette smoke drifted into our unit quite a bit. The kitchen cupboard doors were very loose on their hinges. Otherwise this is a great place and we would book it again. This is a reasonable nightly rate for what you get.
Issue - slept in one morning only to get knock on door by worker(?)wanting the vacuum cleaner to fix. I was still in nightgown. I found it(in bedroom closet)and got it for him. Looked in bedroom closet several days later to find out it had been returned .... this means that someone had entered the condo and my bedroom without my knowledge to return it. Since this isn't a hotel room, and no room safe available, I was upset that someone had free access to my valuables (jewelry), sensitive paperwork (that I was working on)and bedroom without my knowledge. Scary as to so little care for the security of the renter.
It is not an air-conditioned unit, but the fan suffice. In Hawaii, you don't need too much air-conditioning....
We had a wonderful time on the North Shore. It we go back one day we'll defintely stay longer at the condo. It is the best way to enjoy a vacation in Hawaii. We really appreciated the lanai and the pool. We didn't have time to visit the grounds, next time maybe!
We really enjoyed our time at turtle bay and we definitely would stay there again.
Generally a good experience. the last day of my conference was from 7:30 a.m. untiil 12 noon and I would have appreciated a late check-out after my meeting but had to drive over to drop off the key at the office at 7 a.m.
My wife and I stayed there for a wedding that was at the Turtle Bay Resort, had a blast, walked everywhere and enjoyed the entire area without paying top dollar for the Resort, would do it again!!!
All I can say is relaxing beautiful and if you can not enjoy yourself here then I do not know where you will have a good time!
i had a great time and this was a great experience staying at E20. i have stayed twice and hope to stay again. i have recommended friends and they have had the same great time i did.
Even though this unit was somewhat dated, it was as described and completely comfortable. It served us well and we enjoyed our entire visit!
