  House location and layout are fabulous. Furniture and decorations very dated and worn. Pam H. people very helpful with many problems of things breaking or not working; they responded and sent fixers who usually took care of the problem.

  VERY PLEASED WITH OUR STAY AT 53 IN KIAWAH. IT WAS EVERYTHING WE HOPED IT WOULD BE AND MORE. THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO COMING AGAIN NEXT YEAR.

  We have stayed in this property before. Basically it could use decluttering and some update but we love the location and kitchen. Construction nearby was a detraction.

  We have used Beachwalker in the past but prefer the cleanliness of Pam Harrington properties. We have been coming to Kiawah for around twenty years and will continue to do so. We enjoy the spacious kitchen and round eating table in this home. This property owner is compulsive- perhaps one sheet of household "rules" would make opening cabinets more pleasant :) However we do like the house and location so it will continue to be on our future priority list.

  House is in a great location, and plenty of space for 8 people. Decor and furnishings very "dated". Could do with some maintenance inside and out, and we found old food under a bedroom dresser, so not quite as clean as we would expect. Agency was great to work with - very helpful. Overall we enjoyed it and would go again.

  WE love this house and location and keep coming back.
  PHE always very helpful.
  We do find the tone of the owners notes and intructions around the house to be condescending and unwelcoming which is not appropriate for a rental of this price and quality.

  This house has the most beautiful view of the Atlantic! We have been staying in Kiawah since 1979 and Pam Harrington has allowed us to enjoy this house for a bargain price! Our memories are priceless!

  We would request that the AC be turned down significantly prior to arrival/check in, it was QUITE warm (esp. upstairs) and took several hours to cool down the house. Additionally, we had to wash our bath towels because each of us only had 1-2 each, so I would like to recommend a few additional shower/bath towels for your guests. The TVs in the house were kind of a joke but I guess that didn't matter since we didn't spend much time watching. The kitchen in the home was great. We have never rented through Pam Harrington but we may

  The location was ideal--we were 2 families with 2 toddlers and 2 infants, and the house was exactly what we were seeking.The property manager was very responsive to our concern that the gas grill was unserviceable--we got a new gas grill delivered that same day. The beachfront location could not have been more perfect. The kitchen set-up (2 dishwashers/fridges/sinks) was great for the number of people there. The appliances were in great condition. Some negative aspects: The phone (land line) had a spotty connection, and we could not receive incoming calls. The living room furniture was slightly shabby, but it was what I would expect for a beach house (lots of salt/sand exposure). Again, the best part was the location: safe, quiet, and on the beach! We would stay at the same place in a heartbeat, and I recommend it without reservation.

  The house is great for a family vacation. It offers four bedrooms and each has its own bathroom. The layout is perfect and the location is private. The view from the deck and landing is outstanding. The house isn't new and needs a little updating. The house needs new carpet. We did have ants and some bugs, but Pam Harrington took care of this immediately. They were very responsive to our needs. The few problems wouldn't keep up from coming back and renting this house, but it would make the overall experience that much better. Overall, the house is one of the best beachfront locations on the island.

  House needs upgrade to living room and bedrooms. Kitchen is superior, and layout of rooms is great. For the price, the decor is out of date.
